Terms & Disclaimer

In plain words. By writing or reading here, you’re agreeing to the spirit of what follows.

Writing is anonymous, and public

There are no accounts. Anything you publish is dropped into the world for strangers to find, read, and pass on — so please don’t include anything private, identifying, or that you wouldn’t want a stranger to keep. Once a book is out there and has been passed along, it can’t reliably be called back.

Write your own words

Only leave writing that’s yours to share. Don’t post other people’s work as your own, and don’t use Foundling to harass, threaten, or endanger anyone, to target people over who they are, or to share illegal content. Submissions are lightly screened, and anything that crosses those lines may be blocked or removed.

Copyright & takedown

We respect copyright. If writing you hold the rights to appears here without your permission, let us know and we’ll act promptly to remove it. Use the copyright & takedown form — it reaches the site owner directly. Please identify the work and where it appears so it can be found and taken down quickly.

The writing here belongs to its writers

Views expressed in these tiny books are the writers’ own, not ours. Because everything is anonymous and unfiltered by design, we can’t vouch for, endorse, or take responsibility for what any given book says. Read with that in mind.

Reporting

Every book has a quiet way to report it. If enough people flag the same piece, it’s hidden automatically while it’s looked at. If something here troubles you, please use that link.

Offered as-is

Foundling is a small, quiet project offered as it is, with no guarantee that a book will last forever or always be reachable. Books may, on rare occasion, disappear. Enjoy it for what it is: a place for words to wander.
